Diagnostics:
Below is a list of diagnostic files that i use to diagnose computer problems. Click on the name of the tool to the left to download the file or files.
- Dial-A-Fix:
- This is a great little tool to use for fixing problems in Windows XP, 2000, or 98. It will not work however with Vista or Windows 7.
- Autoruns:
- This tool will show you everything that starts up when Windows starts. It also will remove that item from startup on all user accounts when you select that program. This program works with all versions of Windows 2000 and higher.
- Active Hard Disk Monitor:
- This free little tool will actively run in the background and monitor the health status of the hard drives in your computer. You can also use it to run chkdsk and check for errors on the hard drive.
- Driver Packs:
- If you are ever looking for a way to stop searching for all the drivers, or if you need a whole bunch of drivers at one time, this is what you are looking for. This site has all the drivers for XP, Vista32, and Vista64. It comes with it's own program and is updated on a regular basis.
